Phil Beer is the multi-instrumental half of the west country’s award-winning acoustic duo, Show of Hands. With a professional career of over 36 years, Phil has a great deal of material to draw on for his solo appearances, which are an eclectic mix of traditional tunes, covers of Springsteen or The Hollies, together with his own compositions and songs from his contemporaries.
All are songs and music of memory and significance sung in the subtle and melodic Phil Beer style and interjected with musings and amusings to an almost personal audience. It is a treat of past and current favourites from one of the most popular musicians on the acoustic circuit.

John Bramwell has been on a never-ending rolling adventure since his workings away from the cherished, Mercury Prize nominated Mancunian band, I Am Kloot. February 23rd 2024 marked the release of the acclaimed, sophomore album ‘The Light Fantastic‘.
Lauded across the board, ‘The Light Fantastic‘ is a masterclass in emotionally charged and melodically driven tunes for the adventurous. “After both my Mum and Dad died, I started writing these songs to cheer myself up,” John admits with typical candour. “The themes are taken from my dreams at the time. Wake up and take whatever impression I had from what I could remember of my dream and write that.” Despite the sentiment, the songs are surprisingly uplifting and have been lighting up, and selling out, countless live shows across the country.
‘A unique voice both literally and metaphorically’ – Lauren Laverne
‘The UK’s finest export’ – New York Times
‘Bramwell’s new songs are spellbinding’ – The Guardian

Lyon’s songwriting gives as much weight to silence as to sound, with poetic nuance and muscular understatement. Her voice floats between the abstract, the archetypal, and raw vulnerability, inviting the listener to both reach out and dig deep.
Fresh from an extensive European touring run with Zaho de Sagazan, along with a triumphant headline tour of her own in March, Lyon’s recent accolades also include performances at SXSW, The Great Escape, Glastonbury, and New York City Hall, where she received the prestigious Danny Award. She was recently named one of the UK’s 100 most influential disabled people on the Power 100 list and awarded the flagship PPL Momentum Grant.
With her new album, ‘Poems & Non-Fiction’, she cements her place as one of the most distinct and fearless voices in contemporary music.

Event Details
Nerina Pallot is one of the UK’s most quietly extraordinary singer-songwriters. Across eight albums, she has built a body of work that is deeply honest, musically adventurous, and completely her own.
A Brit and Ivor Novello nominee, she’s collaborated with artists as commercial as Kylie Minogue, yet it’s her solo work, fiercely intimate and unflinchingly human, that has earned her a devoted following.
