Big Spaceship and No Fun Intended presents an evening of hedonistic slabs of noise.

Obliterations

From LA, California, these guys bring a cacophony of blistering hardcore fired by a stooges sensibility. Existing somewhere between Pissed Jeans, Negative Approach and MC5, these guys have been around only a short time and have already been smashing loads of venues with some great bands. Their touring history has included supporting Saviours, Eyehategod and Black Breath to name but a few.

Their new album Poison Everything was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 by Chris Owens (Young Widows, Lords) and mixed by Kurt Balou of Converge fame.

Mob Rules

Formed in 2007, Mob Rules have been a pillar of Leeds hardcore since then. Infamous for their live shows, even the Guardian has picked up on the vibrations they’re making in the national hardcore scene. Mob Rules haven’t played Leeds since July last year.

They’ve kindly made their brilliant ‘Nothing Left’ LP available for free download via:

Pink Rick

Formed from the ashes of Scarborough punk band ‘Nose’, PR offer up some right old noise rock for your ears. A mixture of satire, discordance and heavy slabs of tone.

Lugubrious Children

Previously a power-trio, now with added bass. LC are fairly new on the scene but have played tons of gigs and even toured with fellow local grinders Famine. Featuring members of Dog Eggs, Healing Powers and probably about ten other bands.
