Following appearances at the likes of The Great Escape, Live At Leeds, All Points East, 53 Degrees North, Long Division Festival and more, LIFE have shared a new video for their anthemic and frenetic new single “Grown Up”. The video comes ahead of the bands forthcoming UK tour dates, which will kick off at The Lexington, London on 14th June.

The band will play the following live dates:

14th June – The Lexington, London (single launch show)
15th June – The Shed, Leicester
16th June – Sussex Arms Basement, Tunbridge Wells
17th June – Green Door Store, Brighton
20th July – Tramlines, Sheffield
28th July – Leopallooza
31st August – Electric Fields

“Grown Up”, the first single to be taken from their forthcoming LP, is a pounding slice of muscular indie-rock that plays with the theme of adulting – the concept of stepping up to your responsibilities and behaving in a mature fashion – and sees the band hone in on a bigger and more focused sound.

Frontman Mez describes the new single: “Grown Up is about getting to grips with adulthood and wanting to fall in love again. Seeing the decay of human life as it ages in a park with the dying swans. Is there hope between the space on your plate as you fork at your tea? Can you be too grown up for love?”
