Having caught Dead Fairy playing at Oxjam Huddersfield recently – and what an experience that was. The question was whether this would capture the huge huge energy the band have live. And I am happy to say yep it does.

‘Dead Eyes’ is a storming track, it’s all grinding noise and clever tempo changes. It reminds me of, of all things, The Dead Kennedys. Lyrically – because I like good words – it’s actually rather  good. ‘The Devil Seems Like A Pretty Nice Guy’ is a short sharp shock of a track. Really great stuff.

The single was recorded at Fruit Trade in Hull, by Mikey Scott.

The single is available on Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify
