Brass Factor is a celebration of one of Britain’s most traditional and best loved forms of entertainment – the brass band and for 2017 Bands include:

- NASUWT Concert Band
Founder, Alex Bray said: “This is great news for the brass band community in the North of England and we are delighted to have such a high quality line-up of bands for Brass Factor 2017. Support for the two events is especially in full force too with the some notable high profile sponsors to whom we are extremely grateful as without which we could not run the events.”
Bands compete in the talent show style competition in front of a panel of judges. Each band plays a 20-minute set, pitching the traditional brass band music in a new light. Once all the bands have played, the audience and judges then vote for the band with the Brass Factor.
